Who Are We, Really?
We're like you--you're like us. We all desperately need other
people and we need to do a better job at relating to them.
But how? We looked for many years for something that would
really help, often in vain. We, like you, have been fortunate
enough to discover MBTI and have found it be profoundly useful.
We've learned quite a lot about MBTI over the years, especially
how to apply it. Yet we're learning something new every day.
The MBTI Club is a vehicle to provide us with a continual
resource for learning MBTI applications.
We Owe a Debt of Gratitude to Many, Especially to CPP, Inc.
We are in debt to CPP, Inc., the owners of MBTI, for their
guidance in taking MBTI around the world into almost every
corner of the globe. CPP, Inc. continues to be the leader in
developing revisions of the assessment, as well as new tools and
uses.
We are grateful for the opportunity to follow in the footsteps
of the ancients who discovered personality type by observation.
We are committed to carrying on the work of Carl Jung, Isabel
Myers and Katharine Briggs who discovered the concepts and
systematized the study of personality types.
We Want to Ally with Our MBTI Colleagues
One of the primary purposes of the MBTI Club is to form
relationships and alliances with our colleagues around the
world. We want to share what we know and to learn from you.
Thousands of practitioners use MBTI as a tool each day to create
better interpersonal relationships at work and at home.
We have had the privilege of seeing individuals, relationships,
groups and whole organizations transformed because of MBTI
insights and discoveries. Hundreds of MBTI practitioners
provide a myriad of services to MBTI users and discover new
applications, many of which are published and many that are
not. This website is an opportunity for MBTI practitioners to
make their work known and people who love MBTI to explore new
aspects of it.
